Dassam Falls (also known as Dasam Falls) is a stunning waterfall located near Taimara village, approximately 40 km from Ranchi on the Kanchi river. The falls drop approximately 44 metres over a wide rock face, creating a spectacular natural spectacle — especially during the monsoon season from July to October when water flow is at its peak.
The site is relatively less crowded compared to Hundru Falls, making it ideal for a peaceful day outing. The surrounding forest is lush green during monsoon, and the rocky landscape offers excellent photography opportunities.
Dassam Falls Day Trip — What to Expect

- Reach Dassam Falls in approximately 1.5 hours
